There have been three versions of a concluding volume for Poul Anderson's Technic History:
The Night Face and Other Stories (Gregg Press, New Jersey,1978) collects the four post-Imperial installments;
The Long Night (TOR Books, New York, 1983) collects two earlier stories, that should not have been included, and just three of the four post-Imperial installments;
The Technic Civilization Saga, Volume VII, Flandry's Legacy (Baen Books, Riverdale, NY, 2012) collects the last two "Flandry period" novels and the four post-Imperial installments.
Never has a future history series been published in so many diverse editions. An earlier novel in the series was published as:
War Of The Wing-Men
The Man Who Counts
- and, under the latter title, collected in:
The Earth Book Of Stormgate
The Technic Civilization Saga, Volume I, The Van Rijn Method
- and became a single volume again when the Earth Book was split into three volumes. Thus:
The Earth Book Of Stormgate, Volume 2.

Kaor, Paul!
AND, in a hypothetical COMPLETE COLLECTED WORKS OF POUL ANDERSON, the four post-Imperial stories should be collected in a volume containing the original texts of the five Technic stories Anderson revised to make them better fit into the series.
And that includes "The White King's War," A revised version of which became the core of A CIRCUS OF HELLS.
Ad astra! Sean
