Tom's mother is said to be of Hermetian stock and Hermes was Falkayn's home planet;

Tom's first wife, Dagny, is from Kraken, the oceanic home planet of Olaf Magnusson;

his second wife, Yasmin, is from Sassania, where Persis d'Io went after her affair with Dominic Flandry;

later, Kraken will lead in the Allied Planets.
