The Day Of Their Return, 10-11.
Authors of action-adventure fiction are to be commended for fast action. P. 157 begins as Ivar Frederiksen, knocked down in a fight started by him, sees the booted legs of the watch approaching to arrest him and ends as he emerges from a cabin of the rivership, Jade Gate, to see crew folk bouncing around on the deck.
So far, since his failed attack on Imperial marines, Ivar has been rushed along by other people. Sam Hedin smuggled him to the tinerans and Erannath has booked passage for them both on the Jade Gate. During the novel, Ivar learns what is really going down and starts to decision-make.

Kaor, Paul!
Iow, Ivar finally starts to grow up and start THINKING, rather than indulge in wistfulness and emoting.
Ad astra! Sean
