God (The Hunter?)

The Day Of Their Return, 14.

"'I will help you as best I can.' Erannath promised. Perhaps the set of his feathers added: If God the Hunter hurls you to your death, cry defiance as you fall." (p. 181)

We know of the Ythrian New Faith from earlier in the Technic History.

I do not know how I will respond if I fall to death. Defiance seems pointless. I hope that I will be practiced enough in meditation to let go of everything when everything goes from me.

Tomorrow will begin with a car journey of over an hour and an unknown length of time at the far end of Lancashire before the return journey so any blog posts will be later in the day.

Fair winds forever.

Kaor, Paul!

Convinced Christians and philosophic minded persons like you don't believe in defying God when dying. So I agree with you there!

We can strive, as Dominic Flandry more than once thought or said, not to die quickly or easily. We can legitimately make the stupid thing (death) fight for every square centimeter of us!

Ad astra! Sean
