I have not remembered much of this information so I imagine that even regular blog readers have also forgotten most of it.
Rereading a novel like The Rebel Worlds has become a combination of finding new information to post about and searching the blog for what has been posted already.
Tolkien presents endless details of a single world; Anderson many details of endless worlds.

Kaor, Paul!
I have sometimes regretted that Anderson did not condense a history of Technic Civilization as we see Tolkien doing in his famous "historical" Appendix A to THE LORD OF THE RINGS, giving us some of the history of the Second and Third Ages, leading up to the War of the Rings. A more fleshed out history of the Commonwealth, Polesotechnic League, the Empire (including a complete list of the Emperors up till Flandry's time) would have been nice!
It does make me wonder what might be found in that overflowing loose leaf binder used by Anderson for compiling his notes and lists for the Technic stories.
Ad astra! Sean
