Iern, a Stormrider of Skyholm, trains as a pilot for Orion. What will Plik make of this coming together of Apollonian Domain with Faustian Northwest Union? See Myths And Souls? Does the novel end with a merging of cultures? I can't remember.
In The Corridors Of Time, the time wardens of the further future preserve whatever was positive in the warring civilizations of Wardens and Rangers. In There Will Be Time, which is both a time travel novel and an alternative slant on the Maurai History, Earth of the further future is enriched by interstellar contacts.
Still another eight chapters of Orion Shall Rise to reread but not tonight.
