Breakfast In The Air

Orion Shall Rise, CHAPTER THIRTEEN, 2.

In a Maurai jet above the Atlantic, Wairoa serves:

whiskey;
ham;
eggs;
buttered toast;
tomato juice;
coffee.

Thus, we confirm that Terai would have preferred an English breakfast.

Although Plik, their unwilling guest, thinks mythically in terms of gods and demons, he declares himself to be "'...a Nicene Christian...'" (p. 213) Thus, his belief is not only anti- but also pre-Gaean and he disapproves of Wairoa's artificial conception.

This is another post for the Food Thread.

Kaor, Paul!

NOT/ surprised Terai preferred an English style breakfast!

And I remember that bit about Plik being a Nicene Christian, which makes wonder if he was even a Catholic, altho that name is not seen in ORION. An educated Catholic would have insisted on affirming the definitions of the Councils of Ephesus and Chalcedon as well.
