HG Wells' Invisible Man (looks like Clark Kent) is invisible, obviously. So are Wells' Time Traveler and Poul Anderson's mutant time travelers - while they are time traveling. The Time Traveler and the time travelers are also impalpable and time-dilated. The mutant time travelers, while time traveling, can walk around, like the Invisible Man, and, unlike him, can pass through walls. Thus, Jack Havig and Leonce escape from a tower of the Eyrie.

Kaor, Paul!
And the way to imprison one of the mutant time travelers is to attach him to weights too HEAVY for him to carry thru time.
