A Late Night Connection With Other Reading

Dwyr is a cyborg:

"From the darkness where he lay, Dwyr the Hook willed a message forth. Not sent: willed, as one wills a normal voice to speak; for his nerve endings meshed directly with the circuits of the vessel and he felt the tides in the electronic sea which filled Ardaig like a living creature feeling the tides in its own blood."
-Ensign Flandry, CHAPTER TWELVE, p. 116.

We are surrounded by an electronic sea and participate in it with our computers.

Kaor, Paul!

But we can't sense this "electronic sea" the same way Dwyr the Hook did. Sense it immediately the way our eyes can sense color, or the way our hands can feel or grip things. And so on.

Ad astra! Sean
