Some Parallels

"Their rambling apartment on Fifth Avenue overlooked Central Park..."
-John Grisham, Gray Mountain, 30, p. 380.

For other apartments overlooking Central Park, see here.

Grisham's characters consume:

shrimp crusted with spaghetti squash;
pork and apple sausage;
wild striped bass with leek fondue;
a chocolate torte;
a bottle of Syrah;
three cheeses, including Camembert eaten on a crostini;
port.

Kaor, Paul!

I've read some of John Grisham's lawyer novels but I don't recall any particular stress on food in those books. But, most likely that was because I was not looking out for such things.

Sean,
Grish doesn't stress food but I thought this was a good one.

It was! And just before I saw the name "Grisham" I was starting to think you were quoting something from one of Stirling's books. (Smiles)
