Fast Forward Future History

Genesis, Part One.

In I, Christian Brannock is a boy although we do not know his name yet.

II summarizes history until Brannock's period and ends by telling us that, as a man, he went into space.

In III, he is on Mercury.

In IV, the first interstellar spaceship carries his uploaded personality.

In V, there is "Terra Central" on Earth and minds at other stars. Laurinda Ashcroft interfaces with Terra Central, quotes The Tempest and refers to Hamlet.

That is as far as I have reread. So far, a coherent future history but very fast-moving.

Kaor, Paul!

And I think GENESIS was inspired, in part, by the example set by Olaf Stapledon. At least I've thought of it as being Stapledonian.
