In Robert Heinlein's Future History, "Logic of Empire," set on Venus, tells us that Nehemiah Scudder's movement is growing on Earth. The next installment in the History, "If This Goes On -," describes the Second American Revolution which overthrows the theocracy that had been founded by Scudder.
In Poul Anderson's Psychotechnic History, "Holmgang," set in the Asteroid Belt, tells us that anti-psychotechnic Humanism is growing on Earth. The next installment in this future history series, "Cold Victory," describes the anti-Humanist counterrevolution as later recounted by a participant.
The counterrevolution is discussed on Mars by a Martian, a Venusian, a Planetary Engineer from the Engineers' base on Luna and the raconteur who is from Earth.

Kaor, Paul!
I recall how we see Nehemiah Scudder in one of the earlier stories in the Future History, before he began his rise to power. But Heinlein never wrote "The Stone Pillow" because he disliked Scudder too much.
That attitude contrasts sharply with Poul Anderson's own view, because he did write some stories around characters I would have thought he too would dislike. Such as Queen Gunnhild or Harald III of Norway.
Ad astra! Sean
