On The Buses

See Buses.

Sean commented that it would be cool to have non-humans casually taking bus rides so let's backtrack:

Commuters
Living In The Future

Jim Ching sees a Lunarian, a blue Alfzarian, a spacehand and a League merchant on the bus.

The previous, "Buses," post presents:

a bus full of cosmopolitan life;
buses nearly empty because of a pandemic;
a bus journey as an allegory for life and for what some people believe happens after death.

Thus, a post with a sense of completion?

Kaor, Paul!

And I made rather a point of riding in the upper deck of British buses, the last time I was in London, almost 24 years ago! Because it was so different from single deck US buses.

And I'm sorry Prince Charles has been diagnosed with coronavirus. The virus is no joke for people in their seventies, as you both are.

Sean,

I am only too conscious that he and I are less than two months apart in age and live parallel lives in our different milieus. Both began University in 1967 etc.

Paul.

Ah! You mean the Prince Charles of Stirling's Emberverse books! I hope he recovers and that you don't get coronavirus!

Well, at least ours doesn't go mad and get murdered by a scheming Icelander...

Mr Stirling,
Precisely. The two Princes have diverged at some stage!

Kaor, Mr. Stirling and Paul!

I did have the Change in mind! And something as horrific as that could make anyone go bonkers.
