This chapter describes what I call the "Battle on Golden Bay." See here.
It also imparts information on Starkad, some summarized here.
Chapter Six is rich in Starkadian place names. Those not referenced in the linked posts are listed below:
in the Bay are the "Long Moles";
Whitestrands is to the west of the Bay and Sorrow Cliff to the east;
in Ujanka, Pride's Way, the Upland Way, the Great East Road and The Suns and Moons converge in the Concourse which is land-marked by a pylon.
(Chapter Sixteen adds that Shiv Alley adjoins the Street Where They Fought.)
Poul Anderson's accounts of Ujanka are not as geographically detailed as Poul and Karen Anderson's accounts of Ys (see Ghost Quay) but the Starkadian town is well realized, nevertheless.

Kaor, Paul!
And Ujanka is also dominated by the castle of the Sisterhood. And street names like "Shiv Alley" and "The Street Where They Fought" indicates how bellicose Tigeries can be!
And THE KING OF YS includes maps of the city of Ys. THE WINTER OF THE WORLD and THE GAME OF EMPIRE also has maps.
Sean
In a way the alternate name "The Street Where They Didn't Fight" would even more emphatically indicate a bellicose culture ;)
Kaor, Jim!
That was amusing!
Merry Christmas! Sean
