I agree with this listing of loose ends and questions we would like to know the answers to. E.g., we are only told, with no details, that the Wayland AI discussed its history with Flandry.
WHERE did Old Nick go to during that last exploratory voyage in his old age? And how far? The other side of the Galaxy? One of the Magellanic clouds? Heck, the ANDROMEDA galaxy?
Ditto about Manuel Argos, Flandry's old age, and the later history of the Commonalty (and its presumed successors).
