Buddha's Cup On Avalon

On Avalon, there are three ecologies, Terran, Ythrian and native, but only two languages, Anglic and Planha. Thus, native organisms must be given extra-planetary names, e.g., trees include:

Terran oak;
Ythrian windnest;
Avalonian king's-crown.

"King's-crown" was unnamed before explorers and then colonists arrived on Avalon.

These names recur when appropriate throughout the narratives. Avalon is (like) a real place.
