Green Aliens

One ERBian Martian species.
The DC Comics Martian Manhunter who is a metamorph and sometimes invisible and therefore need not appear green.
Dan Dare's Treens from Venus.
Poul Anderon's Merseians.
The HHGTTG Vogons.
Daleks inside their machines.
Vulcan blood, if not skin, has a green tinge.

That is all unless, of course, you know better. See combox. (There is nothing in it yet but there will be.)

Addendum: C.S. Lewis' Venerian Adam and Eve are humanoid but green. Unlike a computer, the human brain does not instantly recall all relevant data.

We have:

two kinds of Martians;
two kinds of Venerians;
six extra-solar races;
two references to Star Trek - for the second, see combox.

Kaor, Paul!

Ha! Was that last comment meant for me? (Smiles)

And we do see mention of wounded Mersians having green blood in books like ENSIGN FLANDRY and THE GAME OF EMPIRE. And Wodenites are said to have red blood as well. Was it Poul Anderson's thought that oxygen breathing races on terrestroid planets more likely than not to have red colored blood?

Sean,
I thought someone would remind us of other green aliens.

Paul and Sean:
In Star Trek, there was a species called Orions. At least some of them — all of their women that were shown — were green-skinned, but otherwise looked completely human. Orion women were notorious in-universe (as well as in the real world) for their sexiness. The actress who first played one commented, "Even before the dance began and I was standing demurely to the side, this feeling was in the air. Gene [Roddenberry, creator of Star Trek] had touched on something dark in man's unconscious; one could imagine doing something with a green mate that he would never dare someone of his own color."

Andre Norton's Janus duology involves a long-extinct species, the Iftin, humanoid but hairless and with large pointed ears — and green skin. This becomes known when the main characters find themselves physiologically transformed into Iftin, and with Iftin memories superimposed on their minds. Apparently the magic-like technology to do this was developed because the Iftin knew an enemy was going to wipe them out. The transformation was a final bid at someday reviving their people.

I knew you would.

Kaor, DAVID and Paul!

David: dang! My lack of familiarity or even interest in TV or movie SF keeps me missing these things. I had thought the skin color of a non human race merely accidental and unimportant.

Paul: but not all Merseians were green skinned. Some are even black, like the Gethfennu gang boss seen in "Day of Burning" (who reminded me of Leon Ammon). And Tachwyr the Dark was called that because he was darker than was common for Wilwidh Ocean Merseians.

Green aliens are cheap, TV-wise. Hence the evolution of Klingons in Star Trek, as more money became available.
