The rite for Ferune makes no reference to a hereafter. His successor as Wyvan of Mistwood Choth addresses what is left of Ferune:

The Wyvan's mention of Ferune's "spirit" is, perhaps, a slight indication of belief, by some Ythrians, of survival of the soul after death.

I think it refers just to the consciousness which has ceased and can only be remembered but the Old Faith does have a hereafter.
