After the battle, Dragoika the Tigery captain of the trading ship, Archer, tells Dominic Flandry ("Dommaneek Faladaree!") that he fights like a male and thinks like a female and invites him to her cabin:
barbaric luxury;
oval port;
bronze candlesticks;
woven tapestry;
a primitive sextant;
parchment charts and navigation tables.
Flandry is tempted but pleads a geas. Dragoika is unpredictable and has intimidating fangs.

Kaor, Paul!
Ha! I remember the amusing bit about how Dragoika's fangs intimidated Flandry.
And Flandry had been intimate, at least once, with a nonhuman lady. I mean Queen Gunli of Scothania, whom we see in "Tiger by the Tail." And Scothanians looked more like humans than did the Tigeries (altho the former did have small horns).
