Half way down p. 264, Chives arrives in the Hooligan to rescue Flandry and Kit from the weather monitor station. Chapter XV, pp. 265-272, is set in Admiral Walton's orbiting fleet. In Chapter XVI, pp. 272-283, Flandry, Chives and a new crew are in the Hooligan and there is the strange scene of the Hooligan on hyperdrive interpenetrating an Ardazhiro craft so that Flandry looks through the turret and recognizes Svantozik. Chapter XVII, pp. 283-297, describes the interior of the nebula and the surface of a proto-planet. Chapter XVIII, pp. 283-301, describes Garth set free, thus contrasting with the earlier description of this Vixenite city occupied by the Ardazhiro. Unfortunately, another instalment ends.

If the Technic hyperdrive is ever shown to be real, would that "interpenetration" of one craft by another be possible?
