Night Sky On Aeneas

Both moons whiten stone and sand. Lavinia rises. Creusa hurtles.

"The Milky Way was a frozen cascade from horizon to horizon."
-Poul Anderson, The Day Of Their Return IN Anderson, Captain Flandry:Defender Of The Terran Empire (Riverdale, NY, 2010), pp. 74-238 AT 4, p. 102.

Another Virgilian planet, Anchises, is yellow. (In mythology, Anchises is Aeneas' father.) Alpha and Beta Crucis and the moons cast shadows.

That is a considerable amount of information especially if you follow the links for the mythological explanations of the names of the heavenly bodies.

Kaor, Paul!

And the image of the aged Anchises being carried by his son Aeneas from the flaming ruins of a falling Troy has stuck in my mind!
