Betelgeuseans trade throughout their sector of space;
one Betelgeusean captain buys hides, fibers and fruit from Unan Besar;
human beings throughout the sector regard the modjo fruit from Unan Besar as a delicacy;
Flandry is not familiar with modjo fruit;
the captain thinks about exporting it to Terra;
Indramadju Square in Kompong Timur on Unan Besar is so old that the stone dragons on its central foundation are weathered and the fountain no longer works;
however, fruit and vegetable vendors sell from thatched booths in the square;
therefore, children and idlers frequent Indramadju Square, hoping to steal an occasional modjo.
That is probably all the information that we receive about modjo although, of course, I will look out for any more. See The Food Thread.

Kaor, Paul!
And we do see Chives mentioning food imported from Unan Besar in A STONE IN HEAVEN.

Kaor, Paul!
Another thought I had was that the Alfzarian merchant captain would need to factor in things like the distance from Unan Besar to Terra, how to preserve the Modjo fruit from spoiling in the two or more weeks it would take traveling from U.B. to Terra, etc., before seriously attempting to market Modjo on Earth.
