In "Hunters of the Sky Cave":
Dominic Flandry reports to Admiral Walton, who first appeared in "Tiger by the Tail";
when Flandry pursues Mindhunter Svantozik through hyperspace, his crew, all with Terran citizenship, comprises -
eight human beings, only one from Terra;
one yellow-haired, horned Scothanian;
two four-armed, gray-furred Gorzuni;
one centauroid Donarrian.
I leave it to other Anderson fans to remember in which works members of these three alien species first appeared or were mentioned.
In hyperspace, Flandry's Hooligan interpenetrates Svantozik's ship and Flandry sees Svantozik. We are not told anywhere else that this can happen.

The image you selected here interests me. It looks a lot like the cover of my 1959 Ace Books copy of WE CLAIM THESE STARS. Is this the actual, original art work? And I usually think of the Ace Books cover showing Flandry meeting Aycharaych at the Crystal Moon.
And I remember how, of the eight humans selected by Admiral Walton, Flandry was, deep down, saddened to find none except him ware from Terra. Btw, I think some attention could have been given to Walton, who is shown VERY positively in the story.
In terms of internal chronology, we first see the Gorzuni in "The Star Plunderer." And Leon Ammon has a Gorzuni bodyguard in A CIRCUS OF HELLS. But I can't remember which other shows us a Donarrian.

Sean,
I found the image with others on the Internet. It looks like original art. Under the picture, there is a hand-written title and signature.
Gorzun is first mentioned in "How To Be Ethnic..." The hero of "Sargasso of Lost Starships" has a Donarrian sidekick.
Paul.
Kaor, Paul!
Thanks for pointing out whee to find mention of Gorzuni and Donarrians. Only goes to show I need to reread those stories.
