Suspended Animation In Poul Anderson's Technic History

Just two references, I think:

Flandry makes it sound as if warcraft and exploratory vessels sometimes carry suspended animation equipment;

Daven Laure reflects that a few score exiles would not have been able to preserve a civilization while surviving in a hostile environment, nor even the few hundred maximum that there might have been if their ship had held suspended animation lockers. (Flandry's Legacy, p. 729)

So suspended animation technology does exist in the Terran Empire period but we are not told anything else about it.

Kaor, Paul!

Assuming a FTL means of interstellar travel, I would argue there would not be much need for suspended animation technology. Aside from special cases like the two possibilities I discussed in another combox.
