A Yeoman's Hope

Although Sam Hedin, yeoman, is both well-educated and well-traveled, he stops, draws a cross and mutters while riding past a fragment of the seamless black wall of the Ancients - to the surprise of his traveling companion, Ivar Frederiksen. Hedin wonders if Admiral McCormac has gone to the Ancients, thus linking the recent mutiny to Aenean apocalypticism, although he admits that there is hope without proof.

Hedin refers to four centuries of humanity on Aeneas. According to Sandra Miesel's Chronology, Aeneas was colonized in the 23rd century and The Day Of Their Return is set in 3028 whereas Sean M. Brooks suggests 3128. See here.

I do not think that we are going to harmonize the Chronology.

Kaor, Paul!

I have to agree, I don't think it will be possible to draw up a completely harmonized Chronology of Technic Civilization. But I do believe my version is more accurate than that of Sandra Miesel.
