Operation Chaos, III.
Matuchek is inspired by:
Valley Forge
the Alamo
San Juan Hill
Casablanca, "...where our outnumbered Army stopped three Panther divisions of von Ogerhaus' Afrika Corps..." (p. 21)
When Robert Heinlein's John Dahlquist is dying, he feels the comradeship of:
the boy with his finger in the dike;
Colonel Bowie, who died at the Alamo
the Captain of the Chesapeake
Rodger Young

Kaor, Paul!
I think "Casablanca" is a fictional battle to be found only in the timeline of OPERATION CHAOS? It's rings no bell with me as something happening in our universe.
Ad astra! Sean

Paul.
Kaor, Paul!
I thought so! With "von Ogerhaus" being analogous to our timelien's Erwin Rommel.
Ad astra! Sean
