Alien Constellations

On Merseia:

"Rigel blazed in the heart of that constellation named the Spear Bearer." (p. 329)

On Avalon:

"'Sol lay...yonder in the Maukh, about where four stars formed the horns...'"
-Poul Anderson, The People Of The Wind IN Anderson, Rise Of The Terran Empire (Riverdale, NY, 2011), pp. 437-662 AT I, p. 446.

Narnian constellations include the Ship, the Hammer and the Leopard.

In Neil Gaiman's The Sandman, the Diamond Girl, the Wreath of Bright Stars and the Crucible might be Kryptonian constellations.

Kaor, Paul!

Of course we have to expect people on different planets to imagine their own constellations, different from those of Earth's skies.

Ad astra! Sean
