"The Year of the Ransom," 22 May 1987.
Castelar prays:
"'Ave Maria gratiae plena -'" (p. 698)
(Should be "gratia plena -")
This is Latin for "Hail Mary, full of grace," a Catholic prayer, and also is yet another Biblical quotation: Luke 1:28.
In the morning, I say:
"We mediate on the lovely light of the god, Savitri: may it stimulate our thoughts!"
-Rig Veda.
Just a quick breakfast post, folks. (I might walk over to Morecambe to try to see Andrea.)
Addendum: Back from Morecambe, mission accomplished. Maybe "gratiae" looks grammatically correct? - but "gratia" is what is said.

Kaor, Paul!
Your study of Latin is much more recent than mine.
Best Regards,
