Poul Anderson, A Circus Of Hells IN Anderson, Young Flandry (Riverdale, NY, 2010), pp. 193-365 AT CHAPTER TWELVE.
Two large and powerful Merseians argue in bass tones with "...the explosive gutturals of Eriau..." (p. 276) Outside, a thunderhead piles up. When they pause, the wind skirls.
When they finish, the sky has gone black, lightning flames, thunder bawls, wind yammers, sheets of rain gallop and raindrops smoke from the ground.
Argument and storm run in parallel.

Kaor, Paul!
I remember that argument between Yydwyr the Seeker and Morioch Sun-In-Eye! And of how eager the latter was to interrogate Flandry.
Ad astra! Sean
