The Technic History assumes scientific cosmology but refers metaphorically to mythological cosmologies. In the Time Patrol series, Norse mythology is welcomed as "'...another whole universe!'"

Don't forget the Mimirian System, which we see in A CIRCUS OF HELLS. The names of the sun of that system and its planets were taken from Scandinavian mythology.
