Recycled place names in Poul Anderson's Technic History include:
Brightwater
Starfall
Borthu
- and maybe more.
Rereading, I come across such details but then check and find that I have already posted about them. I hope that the blog will provide a resource for scholars of Poul Anderson's works. There must be a lot of stuff in here that I have completely forgotten.

And I would include "Ythri" as one of those names Anderson chose to "recycle." We first see that name in the original version of "Honorable Enemies" (albeit the revised version of that story omits it).
And I hope any scholars who take an interest in the works of Anderson will find this blog a useful source! Including maybe one or two of my guest articles.

Sean,
The difference is that there are two places called, respectively, Brightwater, Starfall and Borthu but not two called Ythri.

Kaor, Paul!
That is true. Then it's best to understand the use of "Ythri" in an earlier form of "Honorable Enemies," and one not seen in the revised version, as a literary or editorial decision of the author.
