In Time Patrol, we can follow the schedule of reading "Ivory, and Apes, and Peacocks" immediately after "Delenda Est" but should also be aware that the rearranged chronology places:
""The Sorrow of Odin the Goth"
"Star of the Sea"
"The Year of the Ransom"
- in that order, between "Delenda Est" and "Ivory..." Similarly, in the Technic History, The Earth Book Of Stormgate makes sense either as a discrete volume or as a thread running through The Technic Civilization Saga, Volumes I-III (of VII).
"The Sorrow..." and "Star..." would make sense as a collection to be entitled The Gods Of Time while "Ransom..." and "Ivory..." could be collected as The Thieves Of Time. Maybe a future technology will enable us to print out the works in any combination.
Staying with the Time Patrol reading order, we have just seen Everard at the Pleistocene lodge after defeating Neldorians at the Battle of Ticinus and are just about to see him entering Tyre by ship in 950 BC. There, he will encounter a more sophisticated group of time criminals and also, for the first time in the series, an individual continuing villain.
