Between Rigel and Betelgeuse, the star Valenderay, becomes a supernova. A passing exploratory Polesotechnic League scout ship alerts the scientific base at Catawrayannis on Llynathawr. A little over one parsec from Valenderay is the G-type star, Korych, with its inhabited planet, Merseia.
Paradox And Trillia, a hundred parsecs from Sol, are close to each other and not far from Avalon.

Wasn't Trillia also discovered by the first Grand Survey if it wasn't too far from Paradox? Then it too should be on that very partial list of planets discovered by the Survey.
