The trader team series continues in "Day of Burning" and Satan's World, Chapters I-V, but then merges with the Nicholas van Rijn series in Satan's World, Chapters VI-XXV, "Lodestar" and Mirkheim.
The two series merge when van Rijn receives:
"'Direct call, Priority Two.'"
-Poul Anderson, Satan's World IN Anderson, David Falkayn: Star Trader (Riverdale, NY, 2010), pp. 329-598 AT VI, p. 387.
From then on, van Rijn and the team work together until the end of Chapter XXV (of XXVI). They meet again in "Lodestar" and van Rijn reassembles the team a long time later although for a different purpose in Mirkheim.
"Wingless," about Falkayn's grandson, is a sequel.

Kaor, Paul!
I think Chapter VI of SATAN'S WORLD is where, to my amusement, we see Old Nick whining and griping about the hard work of running Solar Spice & Liquors. And then was sharply reminded by his "tigerish" non-human secretary that he could sell his business for more money then he could spend in ten lifetimes. If he did not want to do that, then buckle down to that work!
Ad astra! Sean
