Nicholas van Rijn's first trade pioneer crew comprised one Hermetian Master Merchant, one Wodenite planetologist and one Cynthian xenobiologist. In The Technic Civilization Saga, Volume II, David Falkayn: Star Trader, we saw this team operating:
on Ikranaka and Merseia while van Rijn remained on Earth;
on Dathyna where they were joined by van Rijn;
on Tametha while problems multiplied in the Polesotechnic League;
at Mirkheim where they addressed the problems and confronted van Rijn.
The League, van Rijn, Adzel the Wodenite, Falkayn the Hermetian and references to the planet Cynthia had all been introduced in Volume I, The Van Rijn Method. In Volume III, Rise Of The Terran Empire, a Terrestrial astrophysicist, van Rijn's granddaughter, marries Falkayn and joins the team. I had meant to write more here but it will have to wait.

One thought I had was that Emil Dalmady, whom we see in "Esau," might have been a natural choice for Anderson to write about in another story. Perhaps showing us how he worked as an "Entrepreneur" staked by Old Nick. Alas, we never got that story!
