Four works in The Earth Book Of Stormgate are each about a different planet discovered during the first Grand Survey:
"Wings of Victory" is about Ythri;
"The Problem of Pain" is about Gray/Avalon;
"A Little Knowledge" is about Paradox;
"Day of Burning" is about Merseia.
"Wings of Victory" is set during what is clearly the first Grand Survey whereas the remaining works describe later expeditions.

Except I think Merseia was discovered during the first Grand Survey. Along with Grey/Avalon and Ythri.
