Perspectives

Genesis, PART TWO, II-IV.

In Kalava's world, clouds usually hide the sky. As Wayfarer approaches Earth:

"Clouds wrapped it in dazzling white." (p. 125)

Are we seeing the same place from different perspectives? (Remember that we have not read any explanation as yet.)

As Wayfarer approaches Arctica by air, he thinks that he glimpses something peculiar on the sea. As Kalava's ship approaches an unknown land, something unidentifiable and terrifying flashes overhead.

Two narratives converge although it is an astronomical coincidence that both "ships" arrive simultaneously.

Kaor, Paul!

Was that something "peculiar" noticed by Wayfarer Kalava's ship? It would certainly be "peculiar" if Wayfarer still thought the human race was extinct.

Sean,

That is what we take it to have been but here I was trying to summarize the event as it was (very differently) experienced by Wayfarer and Kalava.
