Scene Settings II

See Scene Settings.

Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream (see here) begins:

ACT I

SCENE I. Athens. The palace of Theseus.

Enter THESEUS, HIPPOLYTA, PHILOSTRATE, and Attendants.

 This is followed by dialogue.

Shakespeare's The Tempest begins:

ACT 1

SCENE I. On a ship at sea: a tempestuous noise

of thunder and lightning heard.

Enter a Master and a Boatswain

This is followed by dialogue.

Now maybe we have set the scene for rereading Poul Anderson's A Midsummer Tempest? Except that, at this time of night, I will instead return to Stieg Larsson's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Never a dull moment with authors like these. I trust that we will reconvene here tomoz?

Kaor, Paul!

Except first I plan to reread THREE HEARTS AND THREE LIONS before going on to A MIDSUMMER TEMPEST. Partly because THREE HEARTS is where we first meet Holger Carlsen, who also shows ups, briefly, in TEMPEST.

Ad astra! Sean
