Rupert writes with a ferrule:
"'Adam Te Dageram, Amrtet Algar Algastna -'" (p. 191)
These words appear in an etching by Rembrandt. See the attached image, although only a few letters are legible. The etching is discussed and the words are partly explained here. There is a fuller account here. Let me leave this esoteric subject there.

And what I thought was how the OPERATION books mentioned languages such as Latin, Hebrew, Sanskrit, etc., were considered esp. appropriate to use while doing magic.
Prince Rupert was a very busy young man and soldier, but he apparently made the effort to learn Latin.
