Anderson And Leiber

Does anyone know enough about Fritz Leiber's time travel series to compare it with Poul Anderson's Time Patrol? The issue arose here.

Superficially, Leiber's Spiders and Snakes warring through time are comparable to Anderson's Time Patrol and time criminals. However, I think that, in every detail, Anderson gets the history right and addresses the paradoxes with subtlety whereas Leiber does the opposite. But, if anyone has read the whole of Leiber's series and is able to give us an account of his time travel theory and practice, then I will be interested.

John C. Wright's article is proving to be a fruitful source for discussion of time travel as presented by different authors.

Kaor, Paul!

I've read a few of Fritz Leiber's stories, but not his time war series.

Sorry, my familiarity with Fritz Leiber is limited to the "Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser" fantasy stories.
