See The Sigman.
Maybe the Sigman does not divide into conscious and unconscious? Maybe he has full self-knowledge and understanding with no conflict between instinct and reason and therefore no inexplicable motivations? No psychological or social alienation? No social class conflict? Full social cooperation and creativity? UnFallen in terms of Christian theology? No greed, hate, delusion or wrong action in Buddhist terminology?
I have just read elsewhere an inspiring passage about inspiration as the creative union of the conscious with the unconscious. Imagine not merely reading about that or experiencing it once in a life-time but all the time. In a comic strip written by Alan Moore, an Olympian deity says that, when human beings make love, there is a moment at the end when they experience life the way gods experience it all the time.

Kaor, Paul!
I am not so sure the Sigman race doesn't suffer from the problems you listed. Rather, that species problems and flaws are simply going to be different from ours.
