A Glory Of Stars

See search result for "A Wilderness Of Stars."

"...high in a sky that burned with an unbelievable glory of stars."
-Poul Anderson, Planet Of No Return, Chapter 6, p. 45.

"The second sunset was usually a gorgeous bursting of crimson and orange and gold. Then it was night, with a glittering glory of stars."
-Chapter 8, p. 58.

Writing about space travel, Anderson often describes stars seen from space or from another planetary surface. Words (of course) and phrases recur but the description is always fresh. We are invited to view the universe as if for the first time.

Good night.

Kaor, Paul!

And I would love to see that "glory of stars" myself outside the atmosphere of Earth in PERSON.
