Strictly speaking, the frequent discussions we have of the works of S.M. Stirling should be in the SF section of your blog. But there are so many "connections" in Stirling's books with those of Poul Anderson that it is legitimate to talk about them in the Anderson Appreciation blog. And the allusions and echoes to Anderson that Stirling deliberately inserts in his works also makes it appropriate to discuss them here.
