Japanese Celebrities

SM Stirling's Montivallans are hosts to the Empress of Japan whereas James Bond is the guest of an Ama fishing family. However, the fishing girl, Kissy Suzuki, was briefly a Hollywood star, performing in only one film before preferring to return to her former life. In Hollywood, only David Niven treated her honourably. James Bond has enjoyed films starring Niven and Niven starred in a joke James Bond film.

Thus, two kinds of celebrities: Empresses and actresses.

Kaor, Paul!

And I rather liked Roger Moore as James Bond. He looked MORE like my idea of what Bond should look like than did Sean Connery. But I wish more of the Bond movies had been accurate.
