During the war for the possession of the supermetals-coated planet, Mirkheim, Adzel and Chee Lan converse with Henry Kittredge, then all three converse with Sam Romney. Kittredge's surname informs us that he is an ancestor of Kit Kittredge and Helen Kittredge, both of whom live later in the Technic History. Kittredge's conversation informs us that his home planet's, Vixen's, share in the Supermetals company pays for the weather stations in one of which Dominic Flandry and Kit Kittredge will spend some time later in the History. Romney is brought on stage for this single appearance to articulate the views of a self-employed Traver. The three Hermetian classes are Kindred, Followers and Travers.

David Falkayn:

is the leader of a team whose other two members are Adzel and Chee Lan;

discovered Mirkheim;

founded Supermetals;

is of the Kindred.

I intended to mine two conversations for information but did not expect to wind up summarizing some of the significance of David Falkayn but there you are.
