One story about Adzel and two about David Falkayn before they became members of Nicholas van Rijn's first trader team are in The Technic Civilization Saga, Volume I, The Van Rijn Method. The four instalments about the team are in Volume II, David Falkayn: Star Trader. A sequel in which the team is reassembled once years later and for a different purpose, Mirkheim, is in Volume III, Rise of the Terran Empire.
Having reread the third and fourth trader team instalments, Satan's World and "Lodestar," while skipping past the contemporaneous "A Little Knowledge," we want to read about the subsequent lives of David Falkayn and Coya Conyon. Our first three sources of information are Mirkheim, Prologue Y minus 18, Prologue Y minus 9 and I.
Y minus 18, summarising Falkayn's discovery of Mirkheim, is set between the trader team section and the longer van Rijn/Coya Conyon section of "Lodestar." Future histories sometimes incorporate chronological overlaps and that is all that we are going to look at here tonight.
