Ys And Sena

Roma Mater, V.

This cover image shows:

in the background, the towers of Ys, admittedly almost invisible as reproduced here;

in the foreground, the isle of Sena;

on Sena, the House of the Goddess and the Stones, the beak of the Bird and the head of the Beast.

Also on Sena is a Lir altar.

At midnight, the Nine Witch-Queens of Ys emerge from the House of the Goddess and walk to between the Stones where, in the ancestral speech, Quinipilis, the oldest, invokes the Three and, in Their name, all other Gods while Forsquilis, wandering afar as an owl, senses the coldness and vastness of interstellar space. She as an owl sees a camp and a soldier and he sees her.

We see Gratillonius from a different perspective.

Kaor, Paul!

I think mention was also made of Owl Forsquilis feeling awe and terror on seeing Gratillonius.

Ad astra! Sean
