Young Flandry... is a Flandry Trilogy with two non-Flandry sequels. Volume III of the Trilogy cameos the planet Aeneas which is developed fully in The Day Of Their Return. The series takes several unexpected turns.

Your proposal here might work esp. well as part of a COMPLETE COLLECTED WORKS OF POUL ANDERSON.
Attention should also be given to tracking down stories and essays by Anderson which has never yet been collected/republished.
