The first two Man-Kzin Wars stories by other authors are by Poul Anderson and Dean Ing.
Anderson's story begins after the First War. It starts with a situation where Men won the war because they had the hyperdrive but soon moves to a scenario where the kzinti have acquired the hyperdrive and are building a naval base on the other side of human space. Thus, Anderson kick-starts the period of renewed wars.
Ing's story begins on the verge of the Fourth War. Thus, the authors have a long time span to cover and maybe their contributions could be rearranged into chronological order?
Maybe I will read some of the other authors' contributions and discuss them on the Science Fiction blog. Whether I want to acquire and read the entire series is another matter.

Kaor, Paul!
One of the stories in THE MAN-KZIN WARS volume is "Cathouse," by Dean Ing. I remember that story very favorably. And Ing goes deeply into the past, psychology, and sociology of the Kzinti.

Sean,
OK. I will have to read that. (Don't think I have already.)
Paul.
Kaor, Paul!
I just hope you like Dean Ing's story. He also seems to have been a friend of Poul Anderson.
