Kaor, Paul!

This makes me wonder, does this mean LITERALLY again seeing all that had ever lived? I think this comes close to some possibly believing in the resurrection of ANIMALS. I recall how some people believe they will again be with their most favorite and beloved pets after death. I've tried to suggest a few times that what actually happens is that some people will have perfect recall and remembrance of their cherished dogs and cats.

I admit I don't believe our most cherished pets and other animals will again be with us. For one thing I don't believe animals to have immortal souls. I would argue that perfect recall and remembrance would be much the same as a resurrection of animals.

Sean,
Not quite because the animal's own consciousness would not continue.

Or, if everything is viewed eternally, then it doesn't need to be resurrected.

The fact that animals "consciousness" does not survive death is another way of saying they don't have immortal souls.

Since I believe that everything is known by God in His mind that makes sense. Altho Christians also believe in the Resurrection.
